Two Years On

Its now been two years since I have been doing the show Twist A Go Go, and its been a lot of fun. I just celebrated my second annivesary and hope there is a third one.
Here is to the show.

Below I reposted what this show is all about:

Its a go-go dance show featuring music that was played in spots like the Whiskey A Go Go, The Peppermint Lounge, The Hideout, The 5th Dimension, the 20 Grand, and the Flamingo.

Its also inspired by shows like Shindig, Hullabaloo, Where The Action Is, Hollywood A Go Go, Shivaree, Ready Steady Go, Teen Town, Swingin' Time, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, The Man From UNCLE, Gidget, Leave It To Beaver, Batman, Get Smart, and the like.

Here we dig deep with the music to play go go music(which is mainly swinging dance music of the mid 60'), and music that go go music took its inspiration from, like 50's aces from pop, rockabilly, R&B, and doo wop. We also play the deep cuts from British Invasion bands like the Rolling Stones, Kinks, Who, Dave Clark Five, Yardbirds and the Pretty Things. You will also hear garage rock from nuggets and beyond. Also we do some psychedelic, power pop, authentic punk, garage revival and other stuff like blues, jazz, and we can ever go beyond the stratosphere of that and play some country, exotica, and other sounds. All types of music are welcome in the go go club.

Dig It!!!
