What is Twist A Go Go all about??

Let me tell you

Its a go-go dance show featuring music that was played in spots like the Whiskey A Go Go, The Peppermint Lounge, The Hideout, The 5th Dimension, the 20 Grand, and the Flamingo.

Its also inspired by shows like Shindig, Hullabaloo, Where The Action Is, Hollywood A Go Go, Shivaree, Ready Steady Go, Teen Town, Swingin' Time, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, The Man From UNCLE, Gidget, Leave It To Beaver, Batman, Get Smart, and the like.

Here we dig deep with the music to play go go music but the lesser known LP cuts from The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark Five, They Yardbirds, The Animals.
Garage rock past Nuggets, and authentic garage and go go music revival bands. Soul music past Stax and Motown. Other stuff that was pre go go music or was inspired by go go music. Stuff like 50's jive (rock and roll, doo wop and R&B), real punk rock, some blues, some jazz, some country, and other oddball and exotica stuff from Martin Denny to The Raveonettes.
